Nokia have announced their latest touchscreen handset, the Nokia 5230, a “competitively priced” media device. Â The 5230 lacks the WiFi and true GPS of its bigger touchscreen siblings, but has the same S60 5th Edition OS, A-GPS and Ovi apps integration; it also has the social networking widgets that have proved so popular.

There’s also Comes With Music for all-you-can eat downloads, and a standard 3.5mm headphone jack for enjoying them. Â The camera is a 2-megapixel unit, and the whole thing measures 111 x 51.7 x 14.5 mm; it’ll be available in various colors, including silver, black, red, pink, blue, yellow and dark-silver.

The media portion of the upcoming Zune HD is something of considerable consideration recently, as many people are wondering if the upcoming PMP will strive to defeat the iPod Touch, or even start a fight with it. And, as we’ve seen recently, Microsoft seems pretty determined to get the ball rolling on developers working with their peripheral. But, one question that hadn’t been pressed much, was how the future games of the Zune HD could be developed and implemented.
