Guitar Hero 5

Whoever came up with the idea for “Guitar Hero” is laughing all the way to the bank. Who knew a game, check that, a series – would become so huge?

It’s hard to believe it, but we’re already to “Guitar Hero 5″ and quite frankly, the series shows no signs of slowing down.

While “Rock Band” is putting together a nice, counter product, “Guitar Hero 5″ has plenty to keep gamers interested. Players can configure their band members, instruments, and more on the fly.

The track list contains 85 songs and includes video game versions of Johnny Cash, Carlos Santana, Shirley Manson, Kurt Cobain, and Matthew Bellamy.

The game releases tomorrow, September 1st.
