Panasonic ES-LV81-K/ES-LV61-Arc 5 Review

Panasonic ES-LV81-K/ES-LV61-Arc 5

I do believe Panasonic did it again by introducing electric shavers first 5 blade cutting system with its fastest linear motor reaching 14,000 cycles per minute. Not only does this shaver have 5-blades and is fast and efficient it sure is stylish.

If you are wanting a faster cutting experience with a shaver that also takes care of more coverage, look no more.

For all the speed this shaver can deliver (14,000 cycles per minute) it’s low on the noise spectrum. How is that possible? I don’t know but who cares it’s quiet and fast. Not complaining.

The 5 floating blades on this shaver is amazing it doesn’t adapt to the contours of your face like other models; such as, a Norelco rotary shaver but thanks to the multi-pivoting head it does deliver a terrific shave.

Not too mention, the ultra thin foils will lift the hairs up and cut close to your skin without leaving skin irritations.

Simple. The only difference between the two models is its auto cleaning station or lack there of as the ES-LV61-A model doesn’t have a cleaning station and needs to be cleaned manually and I found it rather cumbersome to make an entirely different article or to have you read an entirely different article for that matter when I can just merge two together think “kill two birds with one stone.”

The charging system only takes 45-minutes to deliver a full charge while others take a full one-hour. Just place shaver head down and watch and wait for the charge on its 10-stage LCD display.

As mentioned previously, the ES-LV-61-A model needs to be cleaned manually. This section is more geared towards the Panasonic ES-LV-81-K model.

The cleaning station on this shaver would be great if it weren’t for the costly replacement parts. It will be worth it to keep your shaver running as smooth as possible.

It just takes about 10 minutes for it to run its full cleaning cycle then an addition 1.5 to 2 hours for the dry cycle.

Hands down this shavers innovative 5-blade foil cutting system is the best on the market sporting the fastest linear motor and with that comes a hefty price but worth the money.

It’s great on thicker beards and terrific if you suffer from sensitive skin as the ultra-thin foils lift the hairs before it cuts keeping your face from developing razor burn.

There are really no complaints about the Arc 5 shaver (that I’ve noticed) and that says a lot about this shaver because usually there’s that one person who will find the fault in something—Johnny Rainclouds out there, listen up, this is a top shaver and if you find something wrong with the Panasonic Arc 5 shaver please let us know and we will edit this review.

If you don’t have much hair to shave or don’t use an electric shaver as much go for the older models like the Panasonic Arc 3 and Arc 4 models because their prices have been slashed since the introduction of the Arc 5. No sense in shelling out a lot of money when you don’t need the newest features. I really like the Panasonic line but opt for the older models if you don’t need the 5th blade and extra power.
