No summer hip hop festival has been able to hold a candle to Rock The Bells . This year remains no exception. The Guerrilla Union sponsored festival will host recently reunited hip hop icons: A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def, Nas, De La Soul, Rakim, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, The Pharcyde, Murs, Method Man, Redman, Santogold, The Cook Kids and many, many more.

Rock The Bells Returns

A Tribe Called Quest , Nas , Mos Def , De La Soul , Rakim and a reunited The Pharcyde lead the lineup for this year's outing of traveling hip-hop festival Rock The Bells . The 10-city trek launches July 19 at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre near Chicago and will hit sheds across the U.S. and Canada through the end of August.

This summer, the imprint responsible for launching the careers of Tone-Loc, Young MC, the Pharcyde, Brand New Heavies, and many more will celebrate itself with the remix compilation Rmxxology . Hot Chip, Diplo, Spank Rock and Amanda Blank, Ed Banger's Mr. Flash, Phillipians, and Bobby Evans of Brother Reade are among those who will contribute tweakings of the Delicious Vinyl catalog.
