Open fields, multiple stages, hot sun, massive crowds and lots of rock ’n’ roll — the Pemberton Festival promises to have all the elements of a classic outdoor music festival. But what about all the fans of dance music?

At 10 a.m., Devo, Tom Tom Club and Dan Deacon, 6:30 p.m. June 26 ($53 and $56), and DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist, 7 p.m. July 17 ($36 and $40) at McCarren Pool, Lorimer Street, Williamsburg, N.Y. Ticketmaster.

Camp Bisco

is an annual outdoor festival put on by Philly "trance fusion" jam band the Disco Biscuits. It is, as you can imagine, not something we would generally cover in these pages.
